How to register
To register for our services, you must have an existing bank account with us. You can initiate the registration process either through the HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app or on our website.
Starting from August 22, 2023, we've introduced a customer verification step for all new registrations for HSBC online and mobile banking. This verification can be completed through our contact center or by visiting your nearest HSBC branch. Please be aware that there is a 12-hour cooling-off period following the setup of your Mobile Secure Key.

Register HSBC mobile banking account using Mobile app.
Step: 1
Download HSBC Malaysia mobile banking app and select not register for new user.
Step:5 set you password
Step:6 choose your security questions
Step:7 Establish your security question and provide an answer.
Subsequently, you will receive an SMS confirmation acknowledging your successful online banking registration.
Step:8 Generate a 6-digit PIN.
Upon completion, expect an SMS verification indicating that your PIN has been established. This action will simultaneously activate your Mobile Secure Key.
Step:9 To finalize your customer verification and complete your online banking registration, please contact our customer service or visit your nearest branch.
Ensure that you do this within 48 hours of finishing your online banking registration. When calling, please use the mobile number you registered with, and make sure you have either voice ID or a T-PIN set up to facilitate verbal verification.
Important Information:
Following the successful setup of your Mobile Security Key (MSK), please note the following:
1. A 12-hour cooling-off period applies.
2. Transactions involving third parties that necessitate the use of your MSK can only be initiated after this cooling-off period.
3. After the cooling-off period, you will have unrestricted access to all online and mobile banking services.
How to login
Open the App: Locate the HSBC Mobile Banking app icon on your device and tap to open it.
Login Screen You should be presented with a login screen where you can enter your login credentials.
Enter Your Details: Provide your username and password. If you have set up additional security features like a PIN or fingerprint authentication, follow the prompts to use those as well.
Access Your Account: After successfully entering your login information, you should be granted access to your HSBC Mobile Banking account.
How to transfer money using HSBC Mobile Banking (Duit now)

Effortlessly transfer funds by inputting the recipient's registered DuitNow ID, which can include their mobile number, NRIC, or account number. You can quickly master this process by watching our instructional video, allowing you to complete transfers in a few straightforward steps.
Step: 1 Select "Pay & transfer (Duitnow)" on "Move money" tab
Step :2 Select which account to transfer "From"
Step: 3 Select "My Payees," then choose "Pay a new recipient" to open a transaction selection page. Expand the menu by clicking the arrow icon.
Step: 4 On the transaction selection page, pick either the proxy ID (mobile number, passport, NRIC, business registration, or Army/Police ID) or the account number. This action will navigate the user to the "Add a new payee" screen.
Step :5 Fill in beneficiary information and click Continue.
Step: 6 Enter the transaction details (amount, reference etc). Click Continue to proceed with transaction authentication journey, review the details before confirm it and complete the transaction.
